A few years back ,my Canadian cohort, in the formative days of our friendship, asked me one Sunday morning if I'd ever heard these guys:

Woke Up This Morning????.... oh you mean Peppers and Eggs... the Sopranos song....( I knew it as Peppers and Eggs cuz the temporary blonde moment I downloaded it and it had that name on it... so what did I know.....)
.....I'll bet he about rolled his eyes out of his head...
Needless to say, once standing corrected on the who and what, I ran out and bought, shared and fawned over this new sound to my ears. Sad Eyed Lady has become sort of an anthem between us.... and now I share with friends...
